Sous Chef

We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef! This position plays a central role in the organization and evolution of the kitchen at Au Pied de Cochon. We are seeking someone who possesses both the discipline of a skilled chef and the instinct of a natural leader.

Candidate Profile

  • You are currently working as a sous chef or chef de partie somewhere, have proven yourself, and are eager to continue growing professionally
  • Approximately 3–5+ years of experience — you have an excellent command of fundamental culinary techniques
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong professional discipline
  • Natural leadership abilities and the capacity to lead a brigade with both respect and authority
  • Strong creativity and openness toward culinary research and development
  • Fast execution and precision during service
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and strong team spirit
  • We are looking for someone who enjoys building, structuring, and advancing a kitchen

Responsibilities

  • Assist the chef with the daily management and organization of the kitchen
  • Supervise and support the team during service
  • Ensure consistency and quality of all dishes sent out
  • Participate in the creation and development of new dishes
  • Contribute to managing orders, inventory, and food costs
  • Maintain a structured and efficient work environment
  • Participate in the training and development of team members
  • Ensure compliance with culinary standards and hygiene regulations
