The juniper berries are crushed beforehand to extract as much resin as possible, then placed in maceration with balsam fir, galangal root, alcohol and water. A slow 16 hour distillation follows with the other herbs, including Earl Gray tea in a steamer basket. Put in stainless steel vats to rest before filtration and bottling.
