Ingredients
Ham: Pork, water, maple syrup, onions, carrots, garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, sodium nitrite and pepper. Contains: nitrite.
Pommes à chevreuil: Apples.
Smoked maple baseball mustard: Water, maple syrup, vinegar, mustard seeds, sugar, salt, turmeric, paprika, maple natural flavour, smoke natural flavour.
Method
1. Chill the bottle of cider in the refrigerator.
2. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
3. Place the ham with its juices in a large roasting pan.
4. Pour 1 ½ cups of cider over the ham.
5. Place on the center rack and bake for 1 to 1 ½ hours, basting every 20 minutes, until the ham is well-glazed and the sauce is syrupy.
6. Slice or shred the ham, then serve the meal with a glass of cider. For the best experience, pair each slice with the smoked maple baseball mustard.
