Picnic experience
Come enjoy a friendly picnic experience in the heart of the orchard: delicious food at an accessible price, tables available for your use, and the freedom to bring your own picnic essentials to fully enjoy the moment in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Our menu evolves each month with the harvests to highlight seasonal products. Our service counter is open until 6:00 p.m., but the evening is yours to enjoy. Pick up your picnic basket before closing, then relax, savour your meal, and watch the sun set over the orchard. Guests are welcome to stay until dusk.
$100* per picnic basket (for 2 people) — Choice of 4 main dishes.**
*A $5.00 reservation fee per basket is required at the time of booking and will be deducted from the payment on site.

La Cabane d'à Côté is located on the land adjacent to the Au Pied de Cochon sugar shack. The concept translates into a desire to prepare dishes in front of customers, with the evaporator as the centerpiece. Known for its country-style dining and traditional picnics in the orchard, the Cabane d'à Côté promotes self-sufficiency and local farm products. The fixed menu, and to be shared, focuses on the simplicity and finesse surrounding Quebec products. The chef and his team use the land as a pantry, keeping it all classic with a touch of originality. With a view of the orchard and gardens, the Cabane d'à Côté offers an intimate and friendly atmosphere.
